STECKLE UNANIMOUSLY REELECTED TO THE POSITION OF

CHAIR OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE

OTTAWA – Paul Steckle, the Member of Parliament for Huron-Bruce was today unanimously re-elected to the post of Chair of the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food. After congratulating the Vice-Chairs, Steckle stated, “this Committee has, in the past, worked together in a manner that is both effective and non-partisan. As a result, our Committee has produced quality work that has maintained the interests of Canadian farmers foremost in our minds. I look forward to working with all Members of the Committee in the months ahead.”

The Committee was then called to an “in camera” session to establish future business.
